Hibernator Reviews
Ron Coyne: I was a Greenify (pro version) guy, but tried this a couple days ago… and it won me over for three main reasons: 1) it takes up a fraction of the RAM Greenify does. 2) It closes “system” apps (like Chrome) that Greenify doesn’t really let you close… and 3) By shutting down “problem child” apps (like the Google system apps that love to open themselves), it saves a ton of battery. If your battery dies, and you can’t find the culprit, this will definitely help you. Recommended.
Dabomb la: Awesome app, but the interface is a little ugly, it did everything it said it would! Works fine but I don’t like having to kill my power button instantly locks option. Love it and keep it going!
Anthony Edward Cooper (Tony): Some say task killer apps are a bad thing because stuff gets killed off and then restarts, using more battery than if you didn’t do it in the first place. That’s only true if it simply terminates the app. If the task killer app does a ‘force stop’, like this one, then the app and any of its background tasks are killed off and don’t restart until a specific event that they have registered for happens; like the user clicking on the app icon or you turn on say Bluetooth. This app really does help.
