To put it another way, if you do hurt me, I must stand up and defend myself against you doing more evil things. This way of opening is what I like. In difficult times, people can be more cruel and brutal than ever. Over the millions of years history, eating eggs or chasing after another species has been a common occurrence. That’s why many species no longer exist on this earth (of course many of them disappear due to natural disasters not related to humans).
Humorous gameplay, no brain damage
It’s a very cute and gentle setting. Dino Bash is a strategy game, but it doesn’t have any pressure. It is relaxing and easy to play. Maybe that’s why the game belongs to the genre “anyone can play”.
In the game, you don’t actually play a specific role. It’s not on the human side or as a dinosaur. You can be like an invisible force supporting and standing by dinosaurs in their fight against caveman people.
Let me show you an example. Protect dinosaur eggs from humans is the most important task of the game. The controls at the bottom allow you to choose from the available items to camouflage or shield the eggs. You can also touch the stone to pull it towards your enemies. A dinosaur will fly up to grab the stone from your hand and strike the caveman’s head when you let go of it.
Weapons, dinosaurs, and what’s more?
You will get coins and stars for completing all the missions. These coins and stars can be used to level up, unlock new items and dinosaurs, and help you unlock them.
After completing certain levels, you can unlock and summon dinosaurs in order to defeat the humans. Each species has its unique attack style and benefits. You need to pick the right dinosaurs for the job, depending on the enemy. Initially, you only have little dinosaurs, then when the level is raised higher through the levels, you will unlock the fearsome prehistoric dinosaurs, such as T-Rex, Triceratops, Raptors … enough the power to crush any enemy.
Don’t stop there. Sometimes, you will get special “gifts” from nature: volcanic eruption, ice, blizzard, hurricane, a shower through the forest … Take advantage of all that to defeat the humans out there, with more destructive power than any weapon.
Note to Caveman: Don’t be fooled! They aren’t as gentle as you think and they must have something to do with the fact that they are willing to take eggs from dinosaurs and fight them back. They also have their own strengths (such as running fast, fast healing, climbing walls, launching javelins …) and you, will have to use your own tactics to make the right choices for weapons and dinosaurs.
The scene is vibrant, the graphics catch your attention, and the music is alive.
The game is just that, super easy operation is just like “scratching” for those guys who have played many action strategy games. It is also rich in content, from dinosaurs to powerful enemy characters and scenes.
The 2D graphics are adorable with the horizontal screen and colors. I honestly have not seen so many dinosaurs simultaneously. And they are so innocent, happy, and cute. Even the antagonists of humans look adorable, with some exceptions.
