Gboard Introduction
Gboard APK is Google’s version of the keyboard for android. It allows for quick typing and very little lag. Gboard offers Google Search directly on your keyboard, which is a great feature.
Description
Your messaging partners can also access the search results directly from your keyboard. Tap the G icon at the top-left corner to search. To add this information to your chat, tap the Share link under the search results. You can shrink the keyboard and position it to where your fingers are.
It glides typing means that you can simply slide your fingers from letter-to-letter and your word will be formed. In real-time, you can translate words or phrases. Gboard APK supports voice-to text in many languages. Gboard APK can autocorrect and suggest in any language you have enabled.
It comes with a GIF search. Not only that you create GIFs straight from the board and it’s that easy. Double-tap the space bar to add a period to the sentence. To position your cursor, you can slide the space bar back and forth. It functions as a trackpad. Swipe over it quickly to navigate text messages.

Pro tips:
- Gesture cursor control: Drag your finger across space bar to move cursor
- Gesture delete: To quickly delete multiple words, slide left from the delete key
- Make the number row always available (enable in Settings → Preferences → Number Row)
- Symbols hints: Show quick hints on your keys to access symbols with a long press (enable in Settings → Preferences → Long press for symbols)
- One handed mode: For large screen phones, place the pin keyboard either to the left (or the right) of the screen
- Themes: You can choose your own theme with or without key borders

DA Porter:This seems to be the best Android keyboard app. This is my long-time Swiftkey user. Swiftkey is my preferred choice, but Gboard is my preference. The only problem is that when you long press the space bar, it opens a language menu. To stop this, I disabled all other keyboards and long press now does nothing. It would be better if long pressing allowed you to move the cursor. I hope that you fix this issue. I’m seeing a lot confusion from Iphone users.
Satheesh Kumar:Reasons why four stars are better than five: Each letter that we type is added to the last letter to create suggestions. This works so long as the word that we are trying to enter is in the dictionary. This option does not allow us to type a new word. The keyboard would have been more useful if each letter could be independently transliterated. 2. Absence of classic Emojis
Tina McGuganGoogle phones and tablets have been my go-to for 5 years. I was spoiled by the fact that I found the keyboard difficult to use when I got a Galaxy Tab at Christmas. It was awkward to type, difficult finding alternate characters, and it was difficult to use emojis. It was replaced with Gboard after 5 days. Now I’m happy. It’s far better than the keyboard.
