Tiffany Gobkes: Fun simple game. The stories are heart-wrenching and beautiful. I appreciate that they didn’t ask me to review until I really got into the game and I haven’t come across any ads. Even paid offers are limited in popping up in your face. You can choose to watch combat or skip it, no energy system, and even cutscenes you can skip though I feel like they’re the main lure of the game.
Jonathan Lynch: An interesting take on the genre. The English voice acting is also really good. Currencies are frequent enough to be useful, though there are quite a few things that are paid only. Took a star off because there are a lot of server issues that cause disconnecting right now. Will update down if I hit a pay wall or up if the server issues get better.
Emily Price: Stunning art. Amazing voice acting. Addictive and superb music – not just for the menus, but a custom theme for every character. The stories are heartbreaking and beautiful. This is an idle game wrapped in a well loved piece of art. Gameplay wise, it’s pretty hands off – it’s an idle game – but I feel like the mastery in everything else more than makes up for it.
