Slender: The Arrival Introduction

Slender: The Arrival is made based on the classic virtual horror character, Slender Man. During the development of the game, there was a collaboration with Eric Knudson, the author of Slender Man. Actually, Slender Man is just a meme on the Internet guys. Eric Knudson (username “Victor Surge”), in a minute of improvisation, created this bulky, scary character with a white face. With this image, Eric won the 2009 Photoshop competition, and his imaginary character was named Slender Man.

In the first appearance, Slender Man was a terrifying eerie figure that always appeared next to a child, with creepy confusing captions that made it quickly become popular. It has become the inspiration for countless word-of-mouth stories, online stories, video series, artifact images, and even video games. Slender Man now is not just a virtual image anymore but has become a “creepypasta” – a horror legend, a product created from the Internet. It even really pushed some young people to make murders.

Slender Man is a tall, faceless character. He always dresses in dark colors, with long arms and many tentacles on his back. He always goes around hunting children, by luring them into the woods and doing horror things with them. No one knows the real motives and reasons behind the horrible incidents that the virtual Slender Man causes, but we only know that they are scary, and haunting even when all are not real.

The story

In Slender: The Arrival, you are Laura, a young girl on her way to Kate’s friend’s house on the edge of the forest to help Kate clean the house. When she got there, Laura couldn’t find anything related to Kate. The house was just a mess as if it had just been through a war, and Kate had disappeared without a trace.

While she was bewildered as to what had happened, Laura heard a voice of despair coming from the depths of the forest, it was Kate’s frightened cry. Laura decided to follow the small traces left around to find Kate and solve the terrifying mystery in the forest. And of course, everything is related to Slender Man.

The plot of Slender: The Arrival is especially dramatic as you build characters that are closely connected. One secret after another. The more you discover it, the more terrifying it becomes. For example, Kate later, when unmasked, is The Chaser, who was once obsessed with Slender Man but then went crazy and was completely manipulated by Slender Man. Or you can find the terrifying charred body of Carl Ross, an ill-fated friend of Kate’s.

Gameplay

During the short but thrilling puzzle adventure of Slender: The Arrival, you’ll have to do a lot of things at once. Running away from the chase and not knowing when Slender Man would come, you must solve the puzzles to save your friends. And it’s not just Slender Man, later you need to run away from Slender’s henchmen: Chaser, a minor character said to have been hypnotized and controlled by Slender Man. That process brought about a terrifying experience.

Although there are not too many brain-hacking couplets, and the scenes are not so rich, the tension that Slender: The Arrival brings can make anyone cringe. Exactly, you must collect enough pieces of instruction paper scattered throughout the forest to decipher the final secret.

Your only equipment is a flashlight. You must use your sharpness, intelligence, judgment, and your sanity to escape a series of unexpected situations under the pressure of fear. The later the difficulty increases, the stronger Slender Man, and the faster he chases you. It will be much more difficult to solve.

To successfully escape and find her missing friend, in just a few short hours of play, Laura will have to go through a lot of events and difficult situations tense with fear. Slender: The Arrival is, honestly, not too good in terms of visuals. It is mainly based on the gloom, darkness, and feeling of the horror jungle area, and the ruined house in the game to trigger fear. But what players want to face the most is the terrifying expressions of the characters and the much-anticipated appearance of Slender Man; the game has not done it yet.

Lowkey: Very excited to see this game on mobile devices. Would rate it a 5 star but due to clunky controls, camera sensitivity n lag, im going to rate this a 4 star. I mean the graphics are superb on my end but unplayable due to the few issues i just previously addressed. Will change to a 5 star when these issues are resolved ???
LJCZ: Honestly, I see a lot of reviews of people saying it’s laggy and it’s bad, but it’s not. Make sure you have a phone that can run the game. Some phones can’t meet the requirements unfortunately. It’s the same with a laptop. It can run some games, but some of them it can’t. Overall, great game. Some people just need to read the requirements honestly. Much love to this game, and here’s hoping for a sequel.
Theo Williams: I love this game! I have been a fan since 2016 and still am to this day as I play it all the time on my xbox. It’s even better now its portable. But since you’ve done this will you be adding more levels and other things? The only thing all your fans want is multiplayer. Please add this and the game will be ahhsome. Like you could make characters and play the genesis and more eight pages maps that you could add. Anyway love this game 1000/5
