In this railroad adventure, you need to connect your city with the fastest speed and reach your destination. In this strategy game for all ages, try different strategies, block rivals’ routes and take over before the others. With so many different strategies to try, each new game is a unique experience. Travel the world from Europe to India, passing through legendary China, and face new challenges by purchasing add-on cards with their own special rules (available in expansion packs).
Designer Notes I love route building games, and I love railroads, so my goal with Ticket to Ride was to design a game that combines the two things in the easiest way possible, while keeping a game that doesn’t matter how many times you play it Can have fun gaming it. I also want to focus on building coast-to-coast routes. People often ask me if I know this game will be a hit. But if I had known this, I would have designed it 20 years ago.

A Google user: Game is great when it runs. Unfortunately after the latest update, the game fails to start. It freezes when with a spinning circle and will not reach the title screen. Force closing, restarting game or phone, clearing settings, reinstalling all fail to fix it. One star review until this is fixed. Edit: The issue appears fixed. The game is great otherwise, so score restored.
Heather Cantarero: Love this app! I’ve played it for years. In single player mode, the robots aren’t the smartest competitors, though it depends on the map. The newer maps seem to have better IA, written to win following that particular expansion’s mechanics. I love playing with my sister 200 miles away. She’s smarter than any bot. ? My only quibble is that sometimes it updates without warning in the middle of a game, but I can always get my game back. It’s just a little jarring when it happens.
Gary S: The problems I was having with purchases, etc. from the previous update are fixed. Thanks! I love playing Ticket to Ride, with the board game or the app. I just added United Kingdom and France to my maps. Highly recommended. I would love to see additional maps added, such as the Netherlands, Africa, Japan and Italy maps!
