The sky was then a bloody battlefield filled with pain and suffering. The airmen, fighter pilots, and air force generals… all deserved to be remembered on the historical map of human war. In the infancy of the Great War, the fighting ability and ambition of man were limitless. You will have the opportunity to witness the gentle ‘flying machines’ invented by the Wright brothers. These ‘flying machines’ are now customized to become military warplanes with a rather odd shape compared to other warplanes that you already know in later real-world wars
In Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces, you will also have the opportunity to fly more than thirty aircraft marked in the history of war, including the Fokker Dr.I (a classic Jet associated with the reputation of the famous pilot Manfred von Richthofen aka “Red Baron”). Or you can fly a light fighter like the Airco DH.2. Maybe you can even get your hands on a giant four-engine warplane, Sikorsky Ilya Muromets.
Both game modes will lead you to 3 major campaigns in the Great War: Triple Entente (Western Front), Triple Entente (Eastern Front), and Central Powers. No matter what role you take on, you’ll experience all the fun of flying a fighter jet across multiple skies and engaging in aerial battles with a wide variety of missions. Sometimes you are the owner of a simple fighter, sometimes a heavy bomber warplane.

- Squadron leader: You still start as a pilot. You upgrade your warplane and level up after resounding successes. Step by step, you lead your squadron, manage resources, expand your army base, and train new fighter pilots.

Danny J: Great fun and relaxing game. I love WWI aviation and this definitely gave me my fix. Plenty of options in the free version, but paying to unlock premium and the bonus planes really addes a lot of fun. I think it was $12 tota and it was worth itl. I played it until I unlocked all there was to unlock — I would love to have a new or updated version so I could keep it going.
Judah Boyd: A very fun game. Lots of customization and very beautiful planes. There aren’t too many adds but you can watch them for rewards. One thing I would like to see added is the ability to buy multiple of the same plane. As it is you can buy more hangers than you would ever need for the planes available.
Zechariah Baßänheim: Love it! Graphics are awesome, gameplay is awesome, challenging but not overly complicated. Also, they have a version for Windows which is the same exact game where you can login to the cloud and be able to keep up with your progress on all devices which makes the in-app purchases well worth every penny. Friggin awesome game!!!
